1. The service
Metis Cloud is a software-as-a-service platform for small businesses and self-employed professionals. Features may include customer management, appointments, calendars, sales, receipts, invoices, reports, messaging and third-party integrations.
Features may vary by plan, country, provider compatibility, technical availability and configuration.
2. Eligibility and business use
You may use Metis Cloud only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and use the service in compliance with applicable law. Metis Cloud is intended primarily for business and professional use.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Customer data
You retain responsibility for the personal data, business records and other information you enter into Metis Cloud. You must ensure that you have the right and lawful basis to collect, use and store that information.
5. Appointments, SMS and email communications
Metis Cloud may allow you to send transactional appointment communications to customers by email or SMS. You are responsible for ensuring that recipients have provided any permission or consent required by applicable law or messaging-provider rules.
You must not use Metis Cloud messaging features for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, deceptive content, prohibited marketing or other communications that violate applicable law or third-party provider policies.
Delivery of SMS and email messages is not guaranteed and may depend on telecommunications carriers, email providers, recipient devices, filtering systems and external service availability.
6. Payments and payment integrations
Metis Cloud may allow users to record payments or connect compatible third-party payment providers or card terminals. Availability depends on the merchant's provider, hardware, technical compatibility and successful configuration.
Third-party payment providers are responsible for their own payment-processing services. Metis Cloud is not a bank, card network or payment institution unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Receipts, invoices and reports
Metis Cloud may generate receipts, invoices, transaction records and reports based on information entered or imported by the user. You remain responsible for ensuring that documents and records meet the tax, accounting, invoicing and record-keeping requirements that apply to your business.
Metis Cloud does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice.
8. Third-party integrations
Metis Cloud may connect with third-party services such as Google Calendar, email services, SMS providers and payment providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.
9. Plans, trials and fees
Metis Cloud may offer free plans, trial periods and paid subscription plans. Current pricing, included features and trial conditions will be shown on the website, within the service or during signup.
Unless otherwise stated, a trial does not guarantee continued access to paid features after the trial ends.
